Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM.  Funeral services on Tuesday at  9:30 AM in Central Baptist Church  404 N. Marlyn Avenue Baltimore, Maryland 21221.  Interment  Baltimore National Cemetery.

Annie Lou Horan was retired from the Maryland State Unemployment Security Commission where she served as a claims examiner. She was an avid walker, swimmer, and square dancer. She enjoyed talking on the telephone with friends and relatives. Ann was the only survivor out of ten children. Surviving are her daughter, Lillian, and Anne also leaves five grandchildren; Sherry Hohman (Steve), Craig Horan (Cheryl), Christopher Horan, and Jeff & Steven (Rhonda) Bouknight. Also, she leaves four great grandchildren, Steven Hohman, Lucas Horan, Micaiah and Rubi Bouknight. Anne was predeceased by her son, David Horan. The family wishes to acknowledge Anne's special long time frend, Frank Bruns and the mother of Sherry & Craig, Carol Horan. Lillian would like to thank Pastor Doug Jones and the church family of Central Baptist Chuch in Essex for providing Anne's spiritual care. Also, special thanks to Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care for helping to care for Anne in her home during her illness.
