On Saturday, July 23, 2022, August Edward Strong passed away peacefully. Beloved husband of the late Carrie Strong. Loving father of Robert E. Strong. Cherished brother of William Strong, Oliver Strong, and the late John Strong, Ann Powell, and Myrtle Hamby. Devoted grandfather of Michelle Fink and her husband Sean Fink Sr., and Robert Strong Jr. and his wife Lisa. Great-grandfather of Sean Fink Jr., Kylie Strong, Keirsten Strong, and Candace Strong. August is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 10:00am at Oaklawn Cemetery.
