Eckert, On April 2, 2014 Bernard "Bernie" Emil Eckert Jr.; Beloved husband of May Eckert. Devoted father of Nancy Sudek, Patti Zimmerman and Bernie Eckert III. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Loving brother of Grace Gwin and Charlotte Bachmann.
Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A., 1407 Old Eastern Avenue Essex at Rt. 702 (Beltway exit 36) on Friday from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed in Bernie's name to Piney Grove United Methodist Church 201 Bowleys Quarters Road, Middle River, MD.
