Brian James Richner
October 2, 1972 - August 27, 2022
Brian James Richner passed away unexpectedly on August 27th, 2022. He was 49
Brian was born on October 2, 1972 in Middletown, NY. At 18, he joined the Air Force and completed his basic training in Colorado.
He was eventually stationed in Abilene, TX at the Dyess Air force base as a Staff Sergeant and B1 Bomber Navigational Systems Specialist. There he met his best friend, Joe Branham and the love of his life, Annette Marie Richner.
In 1993 they welcomed their first child into this world, Brandon James Richner. Two years later, they were blessed with a little girl, Tori Marie Richner. His children and family were the center of his world and he lived for the family gatherings when everyone was all under the same roof.
Brian loved the New York Yankees and never missed a game and loved playing different games himself, whether it be with a golf club or a bowling ball. He was happy to spend the whole day out on the lake with his fishing pole and was always up for a night spent around the campfire while visiting his family in New York at the campgrounds.
An avid lover of animals, Brian was always the first to jump in and help any animal in need. He was a very talented hobby aquarist, building and maintaining many beautiful fresh water aquariums for both himself and others. He loved taking his dog, Dani on long hikes through the woods that he would lovingly refer to as "Dani Adventures". His dog, Lucky, was not one to be easily left behind, so Brian always carried him along for the adventure.
In addition to Annette, Brandon and Tori, Brian is survived by his father and mother, Frederick Francis Richner and Kathleen Frances Richner, his brother Stephen William Richner, sister-in-law Dana Elizabeth Richner and niece Cailyn Claire Richner, as well as entirely too many aunts, uncles and cousins to mention, that he had the fondest of memories growing up with them.
