Charles M. Keegan

Charles M. Keegan, age 90, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, in Hanover, PA.  He was born on December 30, 1934, in Baltimore, MD to the late William and Margaret (nee Jakubuwski) Keegan.  Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Lorraine E. Keegan.   He was a devoted father to his three children: Wayne Keegan and his wife Donna, Linda Terry and her husband John, and Doug Keegan; grandfather of Jeffrey Lyons, Kim Kunkel, Matthew Keegan, Emma Howard, and Sara Keegan; and great-grandfather of Dean Brewer.    Charles graduated from Patterson Park High School, where he was an outstanding halfback for the championship winning Clippers and was voted “ All American “ in 1953.  He also attended the University of Baltimore.  Charles worked for nearly 35 years for the fabrication company Doveco, retiring as a Manager of Production Planning.

The family requests that donations be made in Charles’ name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Saturday January 25, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral Service Saturday January 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM.  Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
