On December 11, 2015 Clara Dorothy Weir (Nee King); Beloved wife of the late Delegate Michael Weir Sr.; Loving mother of Michael Weir Jr. and his wife Barbara, Aliceann Phelps and her husband the late Gilbert Phelps, Christian Weir and his wife Darlene, Clara "JoJo" Zajdel, Mark Weir Sr. and his wife Patti and the late Dorothy McGinnity and her husband the late Donald McGinnity; Cherished grandmother of Donald McGinnity Jr., Christian Weir Jr., Stacie Gosting, Sonya "Sunny" Williams, Laura Citro, Gail Andujar, Kenny Phelps , Lisa Gallo, Valerie Cordara, Zachary Zajdel, Cortney Zajdel, Mark Weir III, and the late Dawn Bentley; Dear great grandmother of Timothy, Michaela, AnneMarie, Ashton, Savannah, Kameron, Lachlan, Gage, Jade, Addison, Owen, Ava and Eli. Also survived by sisters Ann Leap, Frances Weir and Patricia Creighton.

Funeral from the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex  at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Wednesday at 8:30 am.  Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mount Carmel 1704 Old Eastern Avenue Essex, Maryland 21221 at 9:00 am. Entombment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.  Visitation on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm.
