On Saturday, April 2, 2022, Doris Mildred Schmidt passed away peacefully. Doris was born to George and Mildred Briggs (nee Hall). Loving wife of Franklin Schmidt. Mother of Deborah Schmidt, Sharon Crouse and her husband Walter, Beverly Shockey and her husband Christopher, son-in-law Eric Bates and the late Barbara Bates. Cherished sister of Wayne Pahl and his wife Donna and the late Warren Briggs. Devoted grandmother of Scott Simmons and his wife Charlene, Shannon Simmons and her fiancé Matt, Jason Bosse, Skyleena Wiseman, Robert Wiseman III, Erin Bates and her fiancé Lawrence Alexander, Sean Bates, BJ Daisey and his wife Jessica, and the late Kristina Wiseman. Doris is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 10 AM at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to BARCS.
