Dorothy Sonberg (nee Rimbach), 89, of Essex, Maryland passed away on April 4, 2020, peacefully in her sleep in her waterfront home. Dorothy was born on January 25, 1931 to George and Thelma Rimbach of Baltimore, Maryland. Beloved wife of 67 years to Edward Sonberg; devoted mother of Susan Kennedy and her husband Donald, Beth Thompson and her husband Albert, and Sally Rapp; loving grandmother of Amanda Kennedy, Rebecca Thompson, Timothy Rapp, Kaitlynn Kennedy, Lindsey Smith and her husband Greg, and Sarah Marsiglia and her husband Jon; loving great-grandmother of Lucas Rapp.
