Edith M. Nelson was born June 7, 1918 in Harmon, WV, one of eleven children. She was united in marriage to Roy James Nelson on April 21, 1946. Mr. Nelson preceded her in death on March 1, 1983. She was a Rosie The Riveter at Martin Marietta in Maryland during WWII. She had strong faith in God and loved her family.

Mrs. Nelson departed this life on January 25, 2020 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 101 Years, 7 Months, 18 Days.

She is survived by a son, Roy Dale Nelson and wife Irma of Lexington, SC; two grandchildren, Michael Wilson and wife Valerie of Adamsville, TN, and Jacki Walsh and husband Eric of Lexington, SC; four great grandchildren: Brandon Wilson, Garrett Wilson, Allison Wilson and Ryleigh Walsh.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex  at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Thursday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens, 5598 Trumps Mill Road, Baltimore, MD. 21206, on Friday at 11:00am. Interment Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
