On August 9, 2022, Gage David Acosta passed away. Beloved son of Michael and Susan Acosta. Loving brother of Garrett Acosta. Cherished grandson of Ana Maria Alicea and the late Richard and Joan Schaffer. Nephew of Richard Schaffer Jr., Michael Schaffer, David Schaffer, Mark Schaffer, Wanda Bachike, Bob Acosta, Lisa Acosta, Yvette Korvin, Michelle Lynch, and the late Anthony Schaffer. Cousin of Rick Schaffer, Kara Schaffer, Todd Schaffer, Anthony Schaffer, Greg Kod, Patrick Schaffer, and Spencer Schaffer. Gage is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 5 PM to 7 PM. A memorial service will be held the same evening at the funeral home starting at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
