On July 11, 2023, George Blair Hankins Sr. passed away. Beloved husband of Linda Gail Hankins; devoted father of Denise Strand and her significant other Jonathan Marc Pressman, and the late George Blair Hankins Jr. and his wife Susan; dear stepfather of Larry Faller (Brenda), and Lloyd Faller (Anna); cherished grandfather of Lisa Rostan (Adam) and Jordan Strand (Yukari), Jessica Schroeder (Christopher), Samantha, Sandra, Christian, Tara, Tricia, Brooke (Eli), and the late Christopher Faller, and James and Michael Suddoth; loving great-grandfather of Ella Jane and Marin Vivienne Rostan, Owen Charles Stab, Wesley Thomas Strand, Jordan Schroeder, Diamond Knofski, Carlie Faller, Jarrett Powell, Gabriella Faller, Santino Simpson, and Zendaya Simpson; loving brother of Jeanne DuFour and the twin brother of the late James Hankins. Also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
