George Frederick Schafer, Sr.

On Friday, March 23, 2012 George Frederick Schafer, Sr.; beloved husband of Lorraine Helen Schafer (nee Novak); devoted father of Marsha Schraml and her husband Al, George Schafer, Jr. and his wife Linda, Thomas Schafer and his companion Kelly; dear brother of Ella Maldeis and Shirley Chmielewski.  Also survived by three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.


Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM.  Funeral service on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.  Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
