Gerry Anne (Durham) Jones

Gerry Anne (Durham) Jones, 61 of Bradshaw, MD passed away with her family by her side at the Genesis Multi-Medical Center in Towson, MD on Thursday, December 7, 2017. She was born June 30, 1956 to Evelyn (Harrison) Durham and the late Robert N. Durham.

She was a graduate of Perry Hall High School and a homemaker for her husband, Kirk L. Jones of Bradshaw, MD, whom she married on September 29, 1979.

Gerry had two daughters whom she loved with her whole heart, her youngest (and favorite), Sarah Jones and her oldest daughter, Suzanne Jones and her husband, Travis Jones.

Gerry was a loving “Mimi” to her only grandson, Chase Pfeifer Jones, son of Suzanne and “Grandma” to Duchess, daughter of Sarah.

Gerry was the youngest sister to the late, Robert L. Durham and his wife, Carol and sister, Jean (Durham) Augustyniak and her husband, John.

She is survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews and their families, who were dear to her heart.

Gerry was a faithful and avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and rarely missed a game.

Funeral Services will be held at Bruzdzinski Funeral Home located at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue Essex, MD 21221. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 1 p.m. Burial services to follow at Parkwood Cemetery.

Special thanks to the staff of Genesis Multi-Medical Center for caring and giving Gerry dignity to the very end. The family will be forever grateful.
