Gladys Pearl (Locke) Parks

On November 19, 2013, Our Lord and Savior called one of his followers Gladys Pearl Parks (nee Locke) home, She is the beloved wife of the late Bobby J. Parks; devoted mother of William Scalla (Perry Hall, MD), Sue Conway and her husband Jesse ,Jr. (York, PA), Pamela Hewitt (Rosedale, MD) and Timothy Scalla and his wife JoAnne (Berkley Springs, WV);  loving daughter of the late Esther C. Locke (nee Dodson) and the late George Locke; dear sister of nine - survived by two - Helen Foor (Bedford County, PA) and Olive Horton (Bedford County, PA).  Also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was loved and will be missed by many whose lives she touched.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex  at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services on Friday at 1:00 pm.  Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
