On August 3, 2022, Gregory Wayne Simmons passed away. Beloved husband of the late Jon Mumford. Loving brother of Jeffrey Simmons and his wife Claire, and Barbara Jean Pennington and her husband Homer. Cherished uncle of Chris Simmons, Drew Simmons and his wife Bela, and Melissa Richards and her husband Tyler. Great-uncle of Autumn Love, Paxton Richards, and Beau Richards. Gregory is also survived many other loving family and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 10 am to 11 am. A memorial service will be held the same day at the funeral home starting at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Flanagan Hill Community Center, P.O.
