On Monday, May 22, 2023, Helen Bernice Metheny, affectionately known as Peanut, passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of 39 years of the late Max Allen Metheny Sr. Loving mother of Helen Schady and her husband John, Max Allen Metheny II and his significant other Donna, and Linda Zapata. Dear sister of Dolly Anuszewski, Cathy Morgan, Millie See, and Dave Minnick. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie, Jennifer, Alicia, Max III, Ryan, Brittany, John, Billy, Joey, and Jesselyn. Devoted great-grandmother of Zak, Peyton, Kayden, Paige, Noah, Isabella, Ana, Max IV, Neakka, Alaina, Elisia, Destiny, Gracie, Faith, and John. Cherished companion of Al Nelson. Helen is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Wednesday, May 24, 2022 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 25, 2022 at 9 AM.  Interment to follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
