On November 4th, 2022 Hilda June Bates; Beloved wife of Clarence E. Bates; Loving mother of Tim Bates and his wife Terra, Jeff Bates and his wife Charlene and the late Eric Bates; Cherished grandmother of TJ Bates and wife Samantha, Jeffrey Bates and wife Sandy, Chad Bates and wife Amber, Kayla Singer, Brandon Bates, Erica Bates and fiancé Matt Bramer, Erin Morris and husband Zach and Tiffany Comer and her husband David; Dear great grandmother of Zachary, Callie, Tripp, Hunter, Bryce, Logan, Luke, Everly, Adalynn, Owen, Noah, Karson, Eric, Declan, Paisley and Harli; Predeceased by 4 sister's and 2 brother's, survived by brother Robert Hinkle. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 9th from 10 am to 11 am in Kingsway Christian Center 7403 Gum Spring Rd, Rosedale, MD 21237. Funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
