Retired Battalion Chief Howard V French Sr suddenly passed away to be with God on Sunday, December 19th; beloved husband of Irene French; devoted father of Lisa Cross & her husband Warren, Linda Ferger & her husband Mark, and Howard French Jr & his wife Nicole. Also survived by grandchildren Karen Auten (husband John Auten), Brandon Wilson (wife Heather Wilson), and Cecilia Cross (significant other John Fenwick). Also survived by loving great grandchildren John Auten Jr, MacKenzie Auten, and Harper Wilson.
Family and friends may call at Bruzdzinski Funeral Home at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue in Essex, on Sunday, December 26th, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services on Monday, December 27th, 2021 at 11 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 10003 Bird River Road. Interment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
