Ida Mae (Stevens) Jones

On Tuesday, December 13, 2011 Ida Mae Jones, (nee Stevens); beloved wife of the late Harry Thomas Jones, Jr.; loving companion of Gerald Dennis Rainey; devoted mother of Michele Jones, April Eichelberger and her husband Jeff, Amber Stevens and her fiance Jason Walters; dear grandmother of Nolan, Cassidy, Collin, Jeffrey and Aaliyah; sister of James Stevens, Judy Stevens, John Stevens and Frank Stevens, Jr.; daughter in law of Winoma Jones; sister in law of Perry Jones and his wife Trish, William Jones and his wife Sharon, Russell Jones.


Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM.  Funeral service on Tuesday at 1:00 PM.  Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.


To honor our mother we are asking friends and family should you choose to in lieu of flowers donate to the Trees for Ida Memorial Fund.  We will keep this fund open until spring and plant as many trees as possible through the Treemendous Trees for Maryland Organization.  There will be a designated location in Baltimore County for the trees.  We will inform you when the arrangements are finalized and you can walk among the trees she so loved in her remembrance.
