On September 4, 2020, Irene Virginia Minturn (nee Kuykendall); beloved wife of the late Charles Raymond Minturn; devoted mother of the late Charles Wayne Minturn and his wife Carol, Dwight Randall Minturn and his wife the late Irene Frances, Barbara Compher and her husband Michael, and Michael Allen Minturn; cherished grandmother of Heather Marie, Hope Nadine, Christopher Wayne, and Andrew Nicholas; loving great-grandmother of Kayla Marie, Lily Anna, Emma Nicole, and Aylie Elizabeth; dear sister of Phyllis Robertson, Violet Smyth, and Bernita Hamm. Irene loved her family and her church family at Peninsula Baptist Church.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex  at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Thursday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral services on Thursday at 11:00 am.  Interment Gardens Of Faith Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: The American Heart Association, P.O.
