On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, Jack E. Reavis passed away at the age of 92.

He was born on March 20, 1932, in Statesville, NC to the late Lottie Denny Meek and Eugene Reavis. Jack served in the U.S. Army from 1949 to 1952. He enjoyed car racing, and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Fite; wife, Marietta Reavis (nee Brown); daughter, Lorraine Richardson; granddaughter, Ashley Reavis.

Jack Reavis is survived by his children, Barbara Frieswyk (David), and Frank Reavis; grandchildren, Jennifer Null (William), and Kristen Evans (Robert); great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Joshua Henson.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral services on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 12:00 PM. Interment in Meadowridge Memorial Park.
