Devoted father of Nicole Blankenship and her husband Chad Sr. and Jackson L. Pruitt III and his wife Beth. Loving grandfather of Sgt. Chad Blankenship Jr. and his wife Patricia, Autumn Pruitt, Austin Blankenship, Wynter Pruitt, Sage Pruitt, Hunter Blankenship and Weston Pruitt. Dear brother of James Pruitt, Janice Pruitt, Joyce Zink, Joanne Elliott, Jerry Pruitt and his wife Ruthie, Allen Pruitt and his wife Barbara, Caroline Spain and her husband Willis. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Monday March 7th 2022  from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.  Funeral services on Tuesday March 8th, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Oaklawn Cemetery.
