James D Keirn

On July 8, 2021, James D. Keirn Sr., beloved husband of 61 years to Kay O. Keirn (nee Pollock); devoted father of James D. Keirn Jr. and his wife Kathleen, and Charles S. Keirn and his wife Leslie; cherished grandfather of James D. Keirn III, Ryan Keirn, Stephanie Keirn, Eric Keirn, and step grandfather of Harmony Burton; loving son of the late Guy M. and Evelyn Keirn (nee Johnson); dear brother of Charles "Bud" Keirn, Carol Whetstone, and Dianne Yeater and her husband Sam, and the late Jack Keirn, Lois Tart, Joann Pruitt, and Nancy Hart; dear brother in law of Joann North, Bob Pollock, Linda and Ray Blanchette, Charles and Mary Pollock, and the late Ron Pollock. Also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Mr. Keirn was employed at the Sparrows Point Shipyard for over 30 years.

The Keirn family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of SpiriTrust Lutheran Village of Shrewbury, from the staff at the front desk to the nurses, all of whom treated James with the utmost respect and care.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services on Wednesday 12:00 PM. Interment in Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
