James Robert Norman, 87, of Essex, Maryland: Devoted husband, father and grandfather joined his beloved wife, the late Pamela M. Norman on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. He is survived by his daughters Ann Freyer and husband Danny, Valerie Martin, Nadine Richards and husband Bill and Nancy Norman-Marzella and husband Paul; Cherished grandfather of Heather Thompson, Kristyn Gray and husband Chris, Bernie Richards, Bob Freyer and his wife Helen, Jim Richards and his wife Kristin and Sydney Marzella; Dear great grandfather of Joey, Owen, Cameron and Landon. Also survived by siblings Helen, Elouise, Thorald and predeceased by the late Dallas, Ida and Edna.

Funeral service on Friday at 11:00 am in Hope Lutheran Church 1901 Middleborough Road Essex, Maryland 21221. Entombment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
