On January 5, 2023, James Slavin Thiess Jr. passed away. Beloved husband of 65 years to the late Louise Ann Thiess; devoted father of Debbie Kresment and her husband Todd, Lynn Hewitt and her husband Ross, Kathy McCourry and her husband Brian, and Kay Harmon and her husband Tom. Also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
