James Adam Zinkand

On July 8th, 2012 James Adam Zinkand, beloved husband of June (nee Joyce); devoted father of Carol Winpigler (Mike), Christine Dennison (Nick), Jim Zinkand, Cathy Lyons (David), Colleen Zinkand, Celeste Williams (Allan), and Richard Zinkand (Tracy); cherished grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 9. Also survived by brothers Jerry Zinkand (Joan) and Joe Zinkand (Ann) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He graduated from Calvert Hall College in 1952 and retired from Bethlehem Steel in 1985 after 30 years of service.  He was also a long time member of the Elks Lodge.
Family and friends are invited to Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, 1407 Old Eastern Ave on Wednesday, July 11th from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 12th at 9am.  Interment at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Calvert Hall College 8102 LaSalle Rd 21286 or Our Lady of Mt. Carmel  schools 1702 Old Eastern Ave 21221.
