On July 13, 2021, Joan H. Schaffer (nee Bielanski), beloved wife of the late Richard Schaffer Sr.; devoted mother of Richard Schaffer Jr, Michael Schaffer, David Schaffer, Mark Schaffer, Wanda Mary Bachike, Susan Acosta, and the late Anthony Schaffer. Also survived by eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Funeral from the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (Beltway exit 36) on Friday, July 16th, 2021 at 10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 11:00 AM.  Visitation on Thursday, July 15th, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
