John David Collins

John David Collins, 54, of Chase, Maryland passed away on October 5, 2022, in Baltimore, Maryland. John was born on February 27, 1968, in Champaign, Illinois to William Collins and Emily Young.

John was a fun-loving person. He helped raise his nephews and nieces and had several godchildren in Baltimore. John was a music lover who liked all types of music. He was a member of the singing group, The Singsations, in high school. John had lived in Baltimore for 39 years and worked for Freeman and Ahern Rental and Sales. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

John is preceded in death by his father William Collins; paternal grandparents Luther and Lydia Collins; maternal grandparents Judge William Sebastian and Loine Sebastian Tyler; and his sister Elizabeth Sanders.

John is survived by his mother Emily Young of Monett, Missouri; brother Michael (Nora) Young of Monett, Missouri; sisters Machaela Sue (Kenney) Heston of Purdy, Missouri, Amanda (Josh) Kerley of Searcy, Arkansas, and Kim Ritter of Rogersville, Missouri; nephews Joseph Harrison, William Harrison, Jason Young, Colton Slayton, and Mason Kerley; nieces Stephanie Wolf, Shelby Stockton, Makayla Slayton, Melanie Jacobs, Rachel Young, and Molly Kerley; great niece Naiomi Harrison; and special friends John Willett, Kate Willett, and Stephen Willet.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 12th, 2022, at 3:00PM at The New Dugout Tavern, 11010 Bird River Grove Road, White Marsh, Maryland 21162.
