On Friday, December 30, 2022, John Francis Dekowski passed away. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Mary Ellen Dekowski. Cherished brother of Steven Dekowski. Devoted boyfriend of Jaimie Rummel. Loving step-son of Kathy Dekowski. Dear step-brother of Ralph, Kate, and Bill. Cousin of Nick and Greg. John is also survived by his friends Kit, Nathan, Hector, Lance, Ruark, Chantelle, Joe Richards, Dr. Kim, Momma Criner, Rick, Troy, Don Heckel, Indra, John Cornelius, Marcelo, Bob Mehl, Tim Shue, Yuri Lupalo, Dave Roush, Ted Ganger, and Paul Gray, along with many other loving family and friends. Throughout his 25-year career as a tandem sky diving instructor, John touched many lives.

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home that same evening at 8PM.  Interment private.
