Jungblut, John R.
On February 16, 2017, after a long battle with Leukemia, John Ronald Jungblut, at the young age of 78, went home to be with The Lord.
John is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Sharon M. Jungblut and his step-daughter Tonya M. Romesburg & her husband Jeffrey Peyton.
John was preceded in death by his parents, George Carl Jungblut & Minnie Schneider Jungblut, as well as his brothers Gary David & George Calvin Jungblut.
John was the loving brother-in-law of Rusty & Frank Valenti and a great uncle to many nieces & nephews.
John graduated from Kenwood High School, had a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University, and retired from Bethlehem Steel after more than 40 years as a machinist in 1998.
John was an avid golfer and loved to vacation with his wife Sharon every year in Florida.
Family & friends gathered to honor John at Bruzdzinski Funeral Home in Essex, Maryland on Monday, February 20, 2017 and to celebrate his life at the Middle River Baptist Church in Middle River, Maryland on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 where John served as a Deacon for many years. Interment was at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Timonium Maryland.
