John Gilbert Price, Sr.
Born March 25, 1931 and passed peacefully in his home in Dundalk, Maryland on December 28, 2023.

John had a wonderfully long life of 92 yrs and had many experiences in that time. At the young age of 18 years old he joined the Navy serving during the Korean War followed by 33 years in the National Guard.  He loved to spend time traveling the US, enjoying nights at the Moose Lodge, VFW and Elks Lodge. He very much enjoyed playing cards at the senior center, slots at the casino, Karaoke and dancing with his wife Josie. He made many wonderful friends and met many interesting people along the way.

Preceded in death by his parents : Howard and Marie Price, First wife: Rhoda Prunty Price, Siblings: Howard and Joseph Price, Mildred Zimmerman, Marie Karl, Helen Canary, Arlene Mathis and daughter Penny Miller. He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Josephine Lillian Price. He is survived by his sister : Elmira Allen, Children : John Price Jr. (Colleen Price) from Michigan, Kimberly Marshall from North Carolina, Steve Miller (Christina) from Virginia,  George Miller (Vicki) from South Carolina and Rob Miller (Tanya) from Maryland.  He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren: Steve Miller, April Miller, Justin Miller, Jordan Miller, Jewels Miller, Josh Miller, Myriah Miller, Joel Miller, Ronnie Haught, Jr., Jonathon and Laura Price, Michael Bottomley, Crystal Brown and 9 great grandchildren plus one on the way.

On Wednesday, January 3rd a graveside service will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens beginning at 2 pm.
