John Richard Reynolds of Abingdon, MD, born September 17, 1938, in East Hartford Connecticut was 84 years old when he lost his 15-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease on August 19, 2023.

He is survived by his devoted wife of almost 65 years, Sandra Louise Reynolds (nee Wolfe). His younger brother, David Reynolds (wife Rena) of Pelham, New York. His daughters, Kathleen Seidel (husband Mark) of Abingdon, MD, and Karen Jacobs (husband Wayne) of Nottingham, MD. His grandchildren Timothy Jacobs of Middle River, MD, Shellene James (husband Phillip) of Abingdon, MD, John Miller (partner Laury Watts) of Fallston, MD, Jessica Bles (husband Christopher) of Golden, Colorado, and Joshua Seidel (wife Leanna) of Abingdon, MD. He is also survived by 11 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.

The oldest child of the late Alyce and Jack Reynolds of Pelham, New York. He was preceded in death by his middle brother Gary Reynolds, of Florida. A private Celebration of Life will be held with family members.
