Devoted father of Ronald Sweet and his wife Nancy, and John Sweet III and his wife Henriann; cherished grandfather of Ronald Sweet Jr., and his wife Robin, Steven Sweet and his wife Lia, and Justin Sweet and his wife Nichole; loving great-grandfather of Daniel, Jonathan, Emily, Ryan, Evan, Ella, Milana, Monroe, and Maverick.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 3 to 7 PM. Funeral services on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
