On February 28, 2021, John W. Tolbert; beloved husband of Claire Tolbert (nee Watson); devoted father of John Tolbert and his wife Tori, Brian Tolbert, and Lauren Tolbert;  cherished grandfather of Brandon Tolbert, Andrew Tolbert, Mya Tolbert, Caden Tolbert, Logan Tolbert, Zoey Tolbert, Nicholas Tolbert, Alexander Tolbert, Douglas Patrick III, and  and soon to be Liam Tolbert; loving son of the late Stanley and Virginia Tolbert (nee Fisher); dear brother of Roy, Pat, Lis, Don and the late Tim. Also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex  at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 8:00pm. Interment private.
