Linda M. Young, age 63 of Baltimore, Maryland, peacefully transitioned from this life in the comfort of her home on September 14th, 2021, with her beloved daughters by her side.

She is survived by and will forever be cherished by her husband, Anthony J. Young Jr., daughters Stacey M. Fleiner and Alexis M. Young, and her grandson, Cameron J. Cobb. Also surviving Linda is her father, James C. Arnold, and her brothers, Jim M. Arnold, John G. Arnold, and Todd D. Hardester. Linda will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She joins her late grandfather, James V. Arnold, her late grandmother Emily Evans, her late mother, Donna Evans, and her late sister-in-law, Michelle Arnold.

Linda graduated from Eastern Vocational Technical High School in 1976, where she studied hard to pursue her dream of working in the medical field as a nurse. She was involved in track and field and basketball. Upon obtaining her degree in nursing, Linda immediately began working as a Registered Nurse. She worked in many local Baltimore hospitals and medical facilities including Metropolitan Medical, Good Samaritan Hospital and Union Memorial Hospital.

Linda impacted and saved many lives throughout her career. Her heart was big and of pure gold. She would do anything for her patients, their families, and her fellow coworkers. Linda worked as a nurse in many different areas including the ER, ICU, CCU, and CVRU. With her devotion and experience, Linda later became an Assistant Director of Nursing and won Nurse of the Year in 2016. She received an outpouring of support and love from her coworkers throughout her journey.

Linda loved to spend time with her family especially with her brothers, daughters, and grandson. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, reading, gardening, and spending days by the water or on the beach. Her personality was generous and irresistible. She saw the good in everyone.
