On October 29_, 2013 Lydia Sue Jenkins (aka Sue Rose) passed away at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Oscar Jenkins for 46 years and beloved wife of Woodrow (Ken) Rose for 6 years. She is survived by her sons, James (Jim) Jenkins (Lore), and Gerald (Jerry) Jenkins (Nancy) , stepson, Jeffrey Rose (Janet), and stepdaughter, Judy Rose. She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter Martha Rose Dezell (Craig).
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Laura Brown, Mark Jenkins, Denise Singleton, Linda Madore, James Jenkins, Erin Dezell, and ten great grandchildren.
The family invites friends to visit at Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex, MD 21221 on Thursday, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Burial will be in North Carolina, A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a 1 pm on November 9, at Orems United Methodist Church, 1020 Orems Road, Middle River, MD 21220.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Orems United Methodist Church.
