Marie Antoinette Carosella

Marie Antoinette Carosella (Uhl), 85, born in Maryland on February 24, 1937 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday June 1, 2022.

She enjoyed writing, sewing and crocheting. Marie was a devout Roman Catholic who received great joy in practicing her religion and stood firm to her Italian heritage.

She was a loving wife for 17 years to the late Robert H. Uhl; devoted mother to Christopher Uhl and his wife Gael, Melissa Taylor and her husband Willie, Michele McCoy and her husband Denny, Elizabeth Reynolds and her husband Tom, Theresa King and Daniele Grace.

Dear sister of Tina Marie Schmidt and her husband John and Joe McDaniel and his wife Lisa and sister-in-Law to Barbara Ann Jordan.

Loving grandmother of Steven Uhl, John Uhl, Kathleen Uhl, Christopher Uhl Jr., Grace Uhl, Thomas Spangler III and his wife Courtney, Heather Spangler, Shelby Taylor, Cody McCoy, and his wife Hilary, Dalton McCoy and his wife Haylie Nicole Kasda (deseased, Jessica Douglass and her husband Mike, Angela Uhl, Mathew Uhl (deseased) , Herbert Grace IV and Mark Uhl.

Cherished great grandmother of Luke Spangler, Chloe Spangler, Riley Douglass, Finn Douglass, Teddy McCoy,  Madison Uhl and Carmine Uhl.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call at her Memorial Mass in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church 1704 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex, Md. 21221 on June 24, 2022 at 10:00 AM. A family gathering will follow.
