Marvin Willard "Pop Pop" Warnick, Sr., 96, of Essex, MD, died Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at his residence. Born April 5, 1916, in Jennings, MD, he was the son of the late Olin and Birdie (Warnick) Warnick. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, his twin, Homer Warnick and Nevin Warnick and a sister, Freda Main. Mr. Warnick was a planner and scheduler for Glenn L. Martin-Marietta Corp. and a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He is survived by a son, Marvin W. “Marzie” Warnick, Jr., Aberdeen, MD; 7 grandchildren, Robyn Warnick, Durae Allen, Kimi Kai Henderson, Sean-Paul Warnick, Bob Gossman, Jr., Cristina Palmer and David Gossman, Sr. and 11 great-grandchildren, Erika Warnick, Brittany Allen, Keirstyn Henderson, Zachary Henderson, Kayla Buta, Kavin Warnick, Marley Gossman, Josh Palmer, Zoey Gossman, Hayden Palmer and David Gossman, Jr.
Friends will be received at the Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, Baltimore, MD on Saturday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, MD, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Randolf Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery.
