On April 10, 2016, Mary Angela Lavin, beloved wife of Edward Lavin Jr.; devoted mother of Denise R. Schiffer and her husband William, Teresa M. Flook and her husband Daniel and Edward F. Lavin, III; loving daughter of the late Mary Kerley (nee Bier) and the late James Kerley; dear sister of Vincent Kerley and his wife Mary, Joseph Kerley and his wife Elizabeth, Catherine Castellan and her husband James and Bernadette Maertens. Also survived by twelve grandchildren.

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church 1704 Old Eastern Avenue Essex, Maryland 21221 at 11:00 am. The family will gather at Resurrection Cemetery 8000 Woodyard Road Clinton, Maryland 20735 at 3 PM.
