On Thursday, July 7, 2022, Michael Howard Smith Jr. passed away peacefully. Beloved husband of the late June Anita Smith. Loving father of Michael Smith III and his wife Linda and Deanna Voglino and her husband Dave. Cherished brother of Pat Narutowicz. Devoted grandfather of Jennifer O’Brocki and her husband Phil and Sara Brotzman and her husband Greg. Great-grandfather of Charlotte, Porter, and Grayson. Michael is also survived by his Cocker Spaniel Maddie.

A memorial gathering will be held at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10:00 with a memorial service starting at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the ASCPA and the American Heart Association.
