On July 17th, 2019 Mildred Marie Shephard (Nee Brooks); Beloved wife of the late Melvin B. Shephard, Jr.; Loving mother of Susan Yurek and her late husband Dennis, Janet Cantwell and her husband Rick, Karen Southwick and her husband Vernon and Kenneth Shephard and his wife Cynthia; Cherished grandmother of Holly, Laura, Carrie, Adam, Allison, Daniel, Clara, Molly, Ellen and Jill; Dear great grandmother of Lillian, Alexander, Gabriella, Claire, Camille and Colton; Devoted sister of Norman Vernon Brooks and Ruth Shifflett.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex  at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service on Tuesday at 11 am in Orems United Methodist Church 1020 Orems Road Middle River, Maryland 21220. Interment Parkwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Mildred's name to Orems United Methodist Church.
