On June 27, 2023, Nancy Ellen Schaffer passed away. Beloved wife of the late Anthony John Schaffer Sr.; devoted mother of Justin Anthony Ihrie, and Anthony John Schaffer Jr.; loving stepmother of Todd Warren-Anthony Schaffer; cherished grandmother of Keiran Azure Ihrie; dear sister of Robert Ihrie Jr., Richard William Ihrie, and David Wayne Ihrie. Also survived by a host of other loving family members and friends.

Friends may call  at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home 1407 Old Eastern Avenue Essex (beltway exit 36) on Saturday July 8, 2023 from 2 to 3 PM, where a memorial service will be held at 3PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Kennedy Krieger Institute, Attn: Office of Philanthropy,  707 N. Broadway, Baltimore, MD. 21205. A private cremation was held.
