Olive Grace Love

Olive Grace Love, 99, of Wiley Ford, WV, formerly of Essex, MD, died Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD.

Born on November 2, 1919 in Altoona, PA, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Edna Ruth (Pross) Bickel. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Carson Love on June 26, 1969; five sons, Richard Daniel Love, William Dennis Love, Kenneth Harlan Love, Charles Joseph Love and Thomas E. Love, Sr. and a great-grandson, Christopher James Pettway.

Mrs. Love was a long time member of the Back River United Methodist Church in Essex and received her salvation under the ministry of Rev. Charles Barrier in Jonesville, VA.

Surviving are her children, Gary Wayne Love of Wiley Ford, Christine Ruth Allen of Jonesville, VA, Florence Penny Anstine and husband Bob of Keyser, WV and Kathleen Jean Gorton and husband Ed of McSherrystown, PA; 19 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.

Funeral services will be conducted immediately following the visitation at 12:00 noon with Rev. Eddie Smith officiating.

An additional visitation will be held at the Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, Essex, MD on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a service following at 12:00 noon with Rev. Eddie Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oak Lawn Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
