On September 18, 2024, Patrick John McAleer passed away. Beloved husband of Debra McAleer; loving son of the late Raymond and Eleanor McAleer; dear brother of John, Anne, Raymond, and James. Also survived by a host of other loving family members and friends.

Patrick was proud of being raised in Eddystone, Pennsylvania. He enjoyed his time in the U.S Navy, where he served on submarines, the Nathanael Greene, and the Alexander Hamilton. Patrick was a longtime federal employee with the Department of Defense. He enjoyed spending time with the love of his life, Debra, in Old Town, Maryland.

Friends may call at family-owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex, Maryland 21221, at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 9 to 11 AM. Funeral services on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Interment in Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 624 Eastern Blvd., Essex, Maryland 21221. For residents of DelCo, a memorial service will be held there at a later date.
