On January 13, 2024, Phyllis Marie Fowler (nee Bullinger) passed away peacefully. Devoted wife of the late Jerry Fowler; loving daughter of the late Joseph and Vola Bullinger.

Phyllis was a loving mother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. She spent many years providing childcare to many children, and her own grandchildren. She retired from Kmart. Phyllis spent 16 years in Franklin Woods Nursing Center, after suffering a stroke in January 2008.

Phyllis is survived by her son Joseph Fowler and his wife Linda; sisters Betty Ende and Debbie Kapinos and her husband Steve; grandchildren Angela Griffith, Alicia Craig and her husband Will, Park Chin, Kyle Chin, and Brooke Fowler; great-grandchildren Corrine Craig, and Penelope Fowler; loving family friends Ruth Lohoerfer, and Russell Brown, and many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Fowler; children Diane Chin, and Ernest Fowler III; grandson Ernest Fowler IV; brother Ray Bullinger; and brother-in-law Lee Ende.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1704 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex, Maryland 21221, on Thursday, January 18, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Wednesday, January 17, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
