On February 25, 2020, Retha Flonnie Melton (nee Douglas), Beloved wife of the late Clarence Bryant Melton; Devoted mother of Becky Hunt and her husband Mark, Peggy Hardy and her husband Bill, Terry Gover and her husband Ernie, Melody Stevens and her husband Kenny, and the late Darryll Melton and his companion Katie Boytim; Cherished grandmother of Danielle Norkitis, Billy Pettway, Aaron Hunt, Joshua Cieszynski, Wesley Hunt, Rachel Eckloff, Stephanie Kemp, Darryll Brian Melton, and Ireland Melton Kelly; Loving great-grandmother of Dean, Wendy, Logan, Charlotte, Nathan, CJ, Kara Jo, Brianna, Luella, Zoey, Mackenzie, and Arlo; Doting mom of her beloved canine companion, Baby Girl. Also survived by one brother, five sisters, and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex  at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Friday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
