Rev. Wilford Courtney Clemmer "Bud"

On Friday, May 04, 2012 Rev. Wilford Courtney Clemmer "Bud"; beloved husband of Elizabeth Lackey Clemmer,  (nee Moore); devoted father of William L. Clemmer and his wife Jeanette, Wanda Bhola and her husband Kenneth, and the late Wilford Stephen Clemmer, dear grandfather of Franklin Thomas and his wife Teresa, Michelle Cantler and her husband Edward; great grandfather of Steven Thomas and Blair Cantler.

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM.  Funeral services on Tuesday at 1:00 PM in Victory Villa Baptist Church   75 Chandelle Road Middle River, Maryland 21220.  Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.

Rev. Clemmer "Bud" passed away peacefully at Gilchrist Center for Hospice in Towson at the age of 84.  Bud was born in Covington, Virginia and served his country in the Army during WWII.   After leaving the Military he married his beloved wife and life long partner of 62 years the former Elizabeth Lackey Moore.  Mr. Clemmer accepted a position at Lockheed Martin in 1954 and they moved their family to Baltimore to be closer to work.  After a few years he accepted a position with Baltimore County Board of Education and worked there until his retirement in 1989.  One of his favorite past times was looking for treasures at yard sales.

God Called him to teach and preach his flock in 1957.  He attended Mount Royal Bible College and became an Ordained Minister.  He volunteered his Chaplin Services at Franklin Square Hospital for many years.

Rev. Clemmer "Bud" never met a stranger just a new friend.
