On April 3, 2012, Richard (Dick) Lawton, beloved husband of Evelyn Lawton, devoted father of Arthur Lawton and his wife Carin and Laura Miller and her husband Scott, loving grandfather of Jennifer Shirah and her husband Al, R J Lawton and his wife Lindsay, Christa Lawton and Stacey Samuels and her husband Luke. Great-Grandfather of Zack , Rachel, Nathaniel, Hailey, Marissa, Shane, Cassandra and Natalie. Dear brother of Jean Jackson and her husband, the late Roy Jackson, and Dave Lawton and his wife Adele and the late Bruce Lawton and his wife Kathy. Dear son of the late Arthur Lawton and Virginia Roth. Also survived by many neices and nephews.


Friends may call at the Bruzdzinski Funeral  Home, P.A., 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (Beltway Exit 36) on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM.  Funeral service on Thursday 9 AM. Interment Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Stella Maris.
