Beloved father of Christine Appel and her husband Joseph and Janice Johnson and her husband William (Buzz). Devoted grandfather of Amanda Sanft and her husband Robert, Brendan Johnson and the late Matthew Wolfe. Loving brother of David Gross and his wife Terrie, Darlene O’Connor and Patricia Gross. Also survived by his former wife Loretta Racey and his nieces and nephews.
