Robert Mont Ledbetter

On February 26, 2014 Robert Mont Ledbetter, beloved husband for 63 years of the late Ruth Janet Ledbetter (nee Elledge); devoted father of Deborah Fuller and her husband David, dear grandfather of Stephanie Fuller; special uncle to Ronnie Jackson of Marion, NC, brother of Helen Harrelson of Prosperity, SC and Ben Ledbetter of Old Fort, NC.; .  Also survived by several other loving relatives and friends.

Bob was born in Marion, NC to the late W.E. and Lizzie Murphy Ledbetter and was one of twelve children.  He was preceded in death by brothers Raymond, Clifton, W.J., DibJones, Calvin and Dorgan; sisters Mamie, Clyta and Alda.

He was a farmer all of his life and was also employed at Glen L. Martins for 43 years.


Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home PA  1407 Old Eastern Avenue  Essex, Maryland 21221 at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Monday from 11 am to 1 pm.   Funeral services on Monday at 1 pm.  Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorials in his name to Gilchrist Hospice Care will be appreciated.
